The original house was owned and designed by local architect Burr Richards in 1973. Current owners have lived in this old house for over 20 years. They contacted us and inquired to give the house a fresh look. From simple renovation to new build, our architect partners, Metrica came up with this mid-century modern home to capture its original essence and dress it up with modern materials and layout. The house sits on a hill overlooking Lake Washington. With an open floor plan, the kitchen, dining, and living room connects the outdoor deck through panoramic doors seamlessly. To top it off, the roof top deck makes Pacific Northwest sunsets picture perfect.
